Причиной исчезновения озера стало образование карстовой воронки, карстовые образования есть везде, когда обвалился очередной карст в провал ушло озеро и рыба. Сейчас неизвестно наполнится ли озеро вновь, подземные воды растворили грунт и образовалась воронка, но иногда бывает, что озеро восстанавливается.
